Audio summary:

The American Hunting Lease Association (AHLA) has established a new strategic partnership with the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) to expand liability insurance options for private property owners and sportsmen. This collaboration aims to secure hunting access by mitigating the financial risks landowners face when allowing others onto their property for recreational use. Members of the NWTF can now utilize flexible insurance policies that offer immediate digital certification and allow for multiple landowners to be covered under a single plan without extra costs. Both organizations emphasize that protecting landowners from legal claims is essential for maintaining the long-term heritage of hunting and conservation across North America. By offering coverage for both leased land and unpaid access, the initiative simplifies the process for hunters to gain legal entry while ensuring property owners remain shielded from potential lawsuits. This joint effort reflects a shared commitment to habitat preservation and the promotion of safe, ethical outdoor activities on private estates.

FISHERS, IN. - The American Hunting Lease Association, the nations leading provider of hunt club and hunting lease insurance has announced a partnership with The National Wild Turkey Federation to offer landowner liability coverage to its members.

Fifteen years since its inception, the AHLA has become the most trusted choice of landowners and hunters engaged in a hunting lease arrangement.  In addition to hunting lease (hunt club) insurance, the AHLA also offers vacant land coverage for landowners who share their properties without charging a fee.  Even thought many states have access laws protecting landowners, the AHLA coverages include legal fees which can quickly escalate.

“We are just proud that an organization like the NWTF, with its long history and positive influence on conservation, recognizes what we can offer their members and how we can impact hunting in the United States together,” said AHLA Chief Operating Officer Sean Ferbrache, “our team is excited to bring the AHLA standard of customer service and innovation to the members of the NWTF”.

Beginning immediately NWTF members will have options like annual policies that begin the first of any month, not just March or July. This simple benefit allows members to have their insurance coverage run parallel to their hunting leases.  Additionally, NWTF members will be able to add up to seven (7) landowners to every policy with no additional charge. The AHLA understands how vital landowners are to the future of hunting. Protecting them and their land is imperative and should be simple and affordable.

Lastly, proof of insurance certificates will be emailed to all hunters and landowners immediately after securing coverage.  When an NWTF member gets permission to hunt on private land, they need access as soon as possible and again the AHLA will make sure that is possible.

About the American Hunting Lease Association:

Created in 2010, the American Hunting Lease Association believes in principle that landowners hold the keys (literally and figuratively) to the future of hunting in America and must be protected from liability claims.  Leasing or granting access to their private land allows hunters seeking a safe, ethical hunting experience to create opportunities for themselves, their families, and friends. From its inception, the organization has worked hard to provide innovative and affordable tools like hunting leasehunt club and vacant land liability insurance packages to address the concerns landowners have regarding allowing access to their farms and properties.

Like any proactive organization, the AHLA has evolved and has expanded its services over the last few years. Protecting the assets of landowners that offer paid and unpaid access to their land for all types of recreation (hiking, fishing, camping, hunting) is vital to the growth of all outdoor activities. The AHLA vacant land liability policy even provides liability protection from trespassers.
